Girl Let Go Inc. was born from a vision that founder Taleca Adams carried in her heart for more than a decade. At the age of 24, she felt a calling from God to create an organization that would support young girls who, like herself growing up, faced adversity, challenges, and moments of uncertainty.
For years, the vision stayed with her. She knew the name — Girl Let Go — but she was still discovering what it would become and how it would impact the lives of young girls.
Taleca understands firsthand how powerful encouragement, mentorship, and guidance can be in shaping a young girl’s future. She believes that when girls are given the right support, they can learn to let go of fear, self-doubt, and the obstacles that try to limit their potential.
With that vision in mind, Girl Let Go Inc. was created to empower girls ages 6–18 through mentorship, education, life-skills development, and mental health awareness.
The organization exists to provide a safe and supportive environment where girls can build confidence, develop resilience, and discover their purpose.
Through community support, mentorship, and meaningful programs, Girl Let Go aims to help girls grow into strong, compassionate, and empowered women who will positively impact their communities.
What began as a vision has now become a mission — to uplift the next generation of girls and remind them that they are capable, worthy, and powerful.“Helping Girls Let Go of Fear and Blossom Into Their Future — One Step at a Time.”
